On June 3rd, Professor Kok Lay Teo from Sunway University, Malaysia, was invited to give a lecture entitled "Sequential Adaptive Switching Time Optimization Technique for Optimal Control Problems" in Room 506, Administration Building, so as to further promote the internationalization of the School and actively promote the scientific cooperation with the research groups of foreign universities.
Prof. Teo introduces the motivation and progress of the research group from practical optimal control problems in the fields of agricultural environment, medicine, and aerospace science, focusing on the latest progress made by the group on the sequential adaptive switching time optimization technique, and the numerical results verify the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method. The presentation is informative and introduces the latest research methods of current optimal control problems for nonlinear time-lag systems in depth.
Through this lecture, teachers and students have a deeper understanding of the hot spots and cutting-edge research in the field of optimal control with time-delay systems, switching systems and pulse systems.
